Configuring RevFE

From

Jump to: navigation, search

At this time, there's not much to configuring RevFE.

[edit] music.conf

Edit the music.conf (open with notepad) to point to where your music resides. You can use relative or absolute paths here. If using an absolute path, an example would be:

C:\example\Music\

If using a relative path, which is a path inside of the RevFE folder, an example would be:

Music\

Case (capitalization) matters! If your folder has any upper case letters, make sure to include them in your path! Also do not forget the trailing slash \.

[edit] obd.conf

Edit the obd.conf (open with notepad) to the correct communications port for your OBD reader. It is currently set to:

COM1

[edit] skin.conf

Edit the skin.conf (open with notepad) of you are creating a custom skin in a different folder than the Skins\Default folder. The path of the skin is relative to the skins folder. So if your path to your skin is C:\CarPal\Skins\DarkSide\ then your skin.conf contents would need to be:

DarkSide
